Install the Chrome extension

Once installed, click the scales icon in the toolbar on any web page to check it paragraph by paragraph, with results highlighted right on the page. Detection still runs only on your computer.

Install from the Chrome Web Store Click "Add to Chrome" on the store page, then pin the extension from the puzzle icon in the toolbar. The first run downloads a model of about 390 MB, and it is fast after that. The store version updates automatically.
Can't use the store? Install manually
  1. Download and unzip Unzip the download and keep the folder somewhere it won't be deleted, such as Documents. The browser keeps reading from this folder. Download the extension (about 6 MB)
  2. Open the extensions page Browsers don't let websites open this page directly. Copy the address below and paste it into a new tab. chrome://extensions
  3. Turn on "Developer mode" Flip the switch in the top right corner of the page. Developer mode
  4. Click "Load unpacked" Choose the folder you unzipped (the level that contains manifest.json). Load unpacked
  5. Pin it to the toolbar Click the puzzle icon in the toolbar and pin the extension. The first run downloads a model of about 390 MB, and it is fast after that.

A manually installed copy does not update itself. To update, download it again, replace the folder, and click reload on the extensions page.
